I can never thank enough all the teaching staff of my school for always giving us the opportunity to stay on the ground for hours and more to train, but still make sure we don’t lag behind in studies by scheduling extra lectures for us. Being a player here, I was also able to score 89 percentages in my boards which itself is a clear explanation of how one can balance on both the fronts when you are part of this place where they help you to grow at all levels. The recognition which I and my team received from Grace ma’am will always be special to me….
And I still approach my life with the motto of, “I can, I will, and I must be a winner”.

I always carried that proud feeling of being in school football team. As a player, there are many memories to cherish especially the one when Mrs Grace Pinto ma’am gifted wrist watches to the entire team after winning prestigious Subroto cup. Our Teachers, supervisors staff supported us through everything possible every time.
I’m grateful to my coaches teachers and all the supporting staff in St. Augustine High school who contributed their bit to my journey which made it worth and beautiful.

Back then I was a house captain and then became President, I think those qualities of being a leader, being confident of one self are what Augustine’s have taught me.
My teachers always motivated me and gave me opportunities to attend theatre festivals, INMUN, debate and different inter school competitions which boosted my confidence and learn things and different culture around.
I still remember the first AD film I had made for ICEPLEX, RYAN TV. Who knew that years down the line I will be producing Ad films for the leading brands. (Nostalgia! Gratitude!)

St. Augustine’s helped me in my overall development – not just in academics but also in sports and other gift-nurturing activities. I am grateful for all of my teachers who taught me with simplicity, discipline and grace. I would like to especially thank the founders, Mr. A F Pinto and Madam Grace Pinto for their vision and commitment to run St. Augustine’s as well as their other schools in a way that is honourable in the eyes of God. School for me has build the foundation of everything that I am today. I remember being in the choir, giving out speeches, participating In elocutions, researching in group for science competitions and so many other extra curricular activities. I learned so much about giving everything a try even if I wasn’t confident that I would excel. And to my surprise I loved being a leader, a collaborator and a relationship builder to the extend that I chose to be a Project Manager for my career. Presently I am working for Facebook as a Project Manager.

The school has helped me grow in numerous ways The biggest highlight was the camp where I learned how to interact with people and the competition which was held on the camp boosted my confidence level. A part from my camp there were many competitions that happened in my school that gave me a lot to explore myself. The staff members were very supportive and not only helped me to achieve good grades but also become an achiever. My teachers are my greatest inspiration who taught me to stand in difficult situation and fight to overcome it.
